Heber's first ballpark hotdog

At the end of May we were given the chance to go to another Indians game (a BIG thanks to Dr. Shay) and decided we would take Heber along with us this time. He loved the game and was really a trooper even though it was freezing cold. We had great seats and great company. I can't think of a better way to spend a frigid Cleveland evening!

We miss you Kylan, Danette, and Keion. Thanks for spending one of your last nights in Ohio with us.

And then he was 3

Heber had a great 3rd birthday. We ate chinese food with his favorite Chicken Lo Mein and then opened his family gifts (thanks everyone) and topped it all off with birthday cake. He wishes everyday he could open presents and eat cake.

Aarrghhh!

Heber wanted a pirate party for his 3rd birthday. I had a lot of fun with the invitations!

Here is my own little captain Jack. Of course he woudn't wear it when all of his friends arrived.
I learned very quickly that I will never do a planned out party with games and the whole 9 yards for 3-year-olds ever again. They had a ball playing in Heber's playroom with all of his toys. Most of the games got swashbuckled (ha ha) and we just let them enjoy each other.

Has anyone seen Heber???

I swear this is what he looked like the other day after we got him out of the sand volley ball pit at Sluggers and Putters. I am still cleaning sand out of the bathtub!

We had a great day of mini golf, water boats and racecars with the Allreds. The kids topped it all off with some sand angels while the guys hit "alot of balls" in the batting cages. Who knew you didn't have to insert all 4 tokens at once!!!!
